Treat on palms.

I got something on right palm:)
During my first days of taiko life, I got blood clots and barked palm often. Nowadays, no such thing happen anymore. I have hard practice for several hours every week, but no injury, no hurt on palms at all.

Do I got very tough iron skin since long time practice? No.. Because only 10 minutes playing taiko cause blood clots and barked palm with a event. That is when I play taiko in front of audience.

On the stage performance, especially when I hear excited and hot cheering, feel longing look from audience, my feeling rise up. Then I notice bloody palms afterward. I was very surprised since only some minutes playing.

I think it must be very different, in spite of playing as well as practice. I hint by myself, because when I play open air.  Play instruments outside, the sound is drawn into the air, bush and audience etc. In other words, I feel sound is much smaller than sound in room. Then I do hard-hitting playing unconsciously. Because I would love all audience to hear my taiko-sound ! YEAH!!
The other day, I played on a stage in local festival and got three-treat blood clots. Thank you!

I got injury on palm with such logic, scientifically. Hot looking is also a logic, too.

Oh, One thing. When you play taiko with brand new bachi(Sticks), you might get injury on your palms. Because surface of new bachi are often rough for your soft skin. So you should file and put oil on them.
